On September 28th and 29th of this year, Macaronesia will embark on an exciting journey of scientific and technological discovery during the celebration of Macaronight 2023.
This event, an integral part of “European Researchers’ Night,” aims to bring science and technology closer to people of all ages while promoting awareness of the preservation of our oceans and aquatic resources.

This unique event seeks to democratise access to science and technology. From hands-on workshops to informative talks, Macaronight 2023 offers a wide range of activities for individuals of all ages. Macaronight has been celebrated simultaneously in the provinces of Las Palmas and Santa Cruz de Tenerife, the Azores, and Madeira since 2018.
