October and November 2023 will witness a significant step within the EXPER project as each Widening Higher Education Institution (HEI) embarks on the journey to establish its own Individual Strategy. This initiative falls under the Co-design Strategy framework and aims to enhance the capabilities and competitiveness of these institutions.
The University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPGC) and the University of Azores (UAc) are taking the lead by organising two collaborative sessions with higher education representatives. These sessions have several key objectives:
- Collective Understanding: High representatives from various universities will come together to gain a comprehensive understanding of the current landscape and challenges faced by Widening HEIs.
- Identifying Priorities: The sessions will facilitate the identification of key priorities and objectives essential for the development of individual strategies tailored to the unique needs of each Widening University.
- Concrete Actions: The discussions will not stop at planning. The participants will outline concrete actions to drive positive change and foster growth in their respective institutions.
