Meeting Held to Strengthen Patent Support at ULPGC

On October 10th, a meeting took place between Andrea Guillen Gil from Atrineo and María Sacristán from the Intellectual and Industrial Property Office (OPII) at the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPGC). The purpose of the meeting was to outline the specific support Atrineo will provide to OPII under the EXPER project.

The collaboration will focus on developing roadmaps for selected patents, detailing critical elements such as business models, pilot testing, real-world trials, potential markets, and manufacturers. Initially, Atrineo will create these roadmaps for one patent, refining the content and structure before expanding to more patents at ULPGC.

These roadmaps aim to increase the Technology Readiness Level (TRL) of the patents, helping to mature the technologies for market transfer and exploitation.
