La convocatoria invita a los estudiantes de 3º y 4º de la ESO así como 1º y 2º de Bachillerato a compartir sus visiones y propuestas sobre la transformación universitaria, las prioridades futuras y la resiliencia ante los desafíos sociales contemporáneos.

EXPER – ‘Excellent peripheries for a strong European Research Area’ is a Coordination and Support Action financed by Horizon Europe. It aims at the institutional transformation of two universities from EU Outermost Regions – the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (Canary Islands, Spain) and University of Azores (Azores, Portugal). Both universities will learn through capacity building and international cooperation from the leading Universities of Rostock (Germany) and Calabria (Italy).
Supporting research and innovation excellence
The ultimate purpose of the EXPER project is to enhance the scientific excellence and innovation capacity of the partnering universities and their role as drivers of economic and social transformation in their territories, with a focus on research fields addressing challenges and opportunities offered by the green, blue and circular economy.

Atrineo, Germany, is an independent, owner-managed company active throughout Europe in the field of commercial exploitation and marketing of knowledge and technologies.
Consulta Europa
CE will act as the Communication leader, as well as leading other tasks such as “Ensuring gender equality and promoting diversity”. CE will bring a long track experience in communication, stakeholder engagement and co-creation activities.
ITC Gobierno de Canarias
The Technological Institute of Canary Islands will benefit from capacity building activities and will ensure the involvement of representatives of businesses and their dissemination of project activities and results as members of the Enterprise Europe Network.
UROS University
The University of Rostock, Germany, is one of the two leading Universities and will contribute with capacity building activities and facilitating networking among Widening Universities researchers and their researchers as well through the integration of them in their international network.
ULPGC FCPCT
University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria supported by FCPCT leads the project and some of the core Work Packages (WPs) such as WP1 on needs assessment, WP2 on co-design of the EXPER strategy and action plans and WP6 on Sustainability.
UNIVERSIDADE DOS AÇORES
The UAc, University of Azores, is the only one in Azores and will represent the R&I ecosystem and is one of the widening countries universities to learn from the leading ones.
UNIVERSITÀ DELLA CALABRIA
The University of Calabria, in Italy, is one of the two leading Universities of EXPER and will bring into the project their special expertise in building entrepreneurial capacities and skills of students and researchers.
SPEGC
SPEGC, the Canary Islands Society for Economic Promotion will ensure the involvement both of enterprises and of local policy makers in the co-design of the EXPER strategy and action plans and their relevance to Smart Specialisation (S3) strategy.
EMERGE
EMERGE will focus its activities on the involvement of technological-based companies ensuring that their knowledge needs are reflected in modernization efforts for making more responsive education and research activities.
TERinov
TERINOV is the Azores Technological park. TERINOV will ensure the involvement of companies as contributor and beneficiaries of EXPER activities in Azores and provide the vision of business to the modernization efforts of UAC.
